Ted Ginn Jr.

Wow Ted Ginn played some football in the final 5 min. of the game 102 yard TD return kick and then he came right back with a 55 yard TD Punt. He really played today and I'm not forgetting My Man Frank Gore he put in some yards I just wished he would have gotten a TD in the last 5 min. of the game. Today they looked just like the old 49ers and Smith did a good job too. I really hope this is the beginning of what is to come from the 49ers the lock-out may not have been good for some teams today like the Falcons and the Steelers but it showed everyone what the 49ers fans have been saying for years they are a great football team and under the right leadership they can be all that and more so 2 tumbs up for my Guys in San Fran. I hope to see less stupid flags work on that, Thanks for giving Your Fans A Great Opening Season.

And To The Family and Friends of those lost 10 Years ago May God Keep and Bless You!

And to our Armded Service People Thank You For doing a Great Job! Much Love!!

Gore Off. Player of Week.

The San Francisco 49ers were notified today that RB Frank Gore has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week following his performance Sunday versus the Seattle Seahawks.

With touchdown runs of 79 and 80 yards, 49ers RB Frank Gore became the only player in NFL history, other than Barry Sanders (80 & 82 at TB, 10/12/97), to register two scoring runs of 75 yards-or-more in the same game. On the day, Gore posted his second career 200-yard rushing performance (16-207-2TDs), while leading his team to a 2-0 start and a spot atop the NFC West. His 12.9 yards per carry average ranks second in franchise history (min. 10 carries) and is the third-highest single-game average (min. 15 carries) in the NFL, since 1970. Gore’s 80-yd. touchdown run was the longest run of his career, while the 79 yarder now ranks second. He also set a career-high, and the 6th-highest total in 49ers history, with 246 yards from scrimmage, having led the team with 39 yards receiving.

Other Gore Notables from the day

•    Gore rushed for 126 yards on 11 carries and one touchdown in the first half. It was the first time that Gore rushed for over 100 yards in the first half since 12/10/06 vs. Green Bay (106 yards on 9 carries).

•    Sunday marked Gore’s 16th career 100-yard rushing performance, which is tied for 2nd in team history, and his 7th career game with two rushing touchdowns.

Sitting Out/Praises for Singletary

Praises to Coach Singletary for not letting his top players play on Friday night!
Even if us Fans would like to see Gore &Bruce play it's nice to know that the
Coach is thinking about keeping them healthy.
I know a lot of folks would like to see them play but waiting for the regular
season is the Best .
Go Niners

Gore won't have to play Friday

Running back Frank Gore and receiver Isaac Bruce won't play
during Friday's preseason game against the Broncos. Coach
Mike Singletary
doesn't want to risk injury to two of his
star players who have been getting plenty of work in camp.
Glen Coffee will replace Gore.
